What is Rx ‘n Go Beyond?

Rx ‘n Go Beyond is an alternative, mail-order pharmacy program that consists of approximately 180 brand name, maintenance medications offered to eligible members at $0 cost. It is complementary pharmacy program and does not replace the existing pharmacy benefit provided by your sponsoring employer.


How is Rx ‘n Go Beyond different from Rx ‘n Go?

If your employer sponsors the Rx ‘n Go Beyond program then you have access to certain brand name medications for your personal importation through our pharmacy partner located in Manitoba, Canada. The Rx ‘n Go program provides access to generic medication and insulin products through our pharmacy fulfillment partner located in Trevose, PA. Both programs are safe ways for you to receive your prescription maintenance medication for free.

Because the medications are coming from two different pharmacies and jurisdictions, you will need to manage your prescriptions via two separate and secure online portals.


How much does it cost members?

Nothing. There are no membership fees, no enrollment fees, no copays or shipping costs. That’s right, it’s totally free to members. Members on a PPO plan have access to all 180 brand name medications. Due to IRS regulations, members on a Qualified High Deductible Health Plan (QHDHP) with a Health Savings Account (HSA) will only have access to approximately 120 preventive medications at no cost. If you are on a QHDHP and want to get non-preventive medications through Rx ‘n Go, you always have the option to pay out-of-pocket – call customer service to confirm 833.390.1043.


How are members able to import medications using the Rx ‘n Go Beyond program?

The Rx ‘n Go Beyond program will help facilitate your individual importation of brand name prescription medications from our pharmacy partner located in Canada. On July 24, 2020, an Executive Order for “Increasing Drug Importation to Lower Prices for American Patients” was signed into effect. This order noted “Americans spend more per capita on pharmaceutical drugs than residents of any other developed country. Americans often pay more for the exact same drugs, even when they are produced and shipped from the exact same facilities.” The Secretary of Health & Human Services encourages the importation of lower-cost prescription drugs for individuals, specifically noting Canadian pharmacies.


How are members able to place orders online?

Members are only able to place orders after the individual has entered into a written agreement with Rx ‘n Go Beyond where Rx ‘n Go Beyond is appointed as the member’s agent authorized to shop for the specific prescription medication in the Canadian marketplace. Every order placed by the member must be accompanied by a lawfully written prescription, issued by the member’s own US-based, licensed health practitioner. Each order will be separately verified and authenticated by both a Canadian doctor and pharmacist.


What safety protocols are in place to ensure quality of medications?

Medications on the Rx ‘n Go Beyond Covered Drug List are approved by Health Canada. Any order placed through the Rx ‘n Go Beyond program must include a valid prescription written by a U.S. licensed healthcare practitioner. Orders will then be reviewed again by a Canadian physician and pharmacist to confirm for appropriateness and to check for any potential harmful drug interactions or contraindications. Medications will be shipped in original manufacturer’s packaging to ensure quality and safety.

All of the prescription medications offered on the program are sourced through Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) certified manufacturing plants. To ensure compliance with GMP regulations, the Health Product Compliance Directorate (HPCD) inspects establishments that fabricate, package or label, distribute, import, wholesale or test medications.


Is it safe to have my medications shipped internationally?

Absolutely! The majority (about 80%) of medications in the U. S. are already being manufactured and imported internationally from FDA approved facilities today. The Rx ‘n Go Beyond program allows for members to access these same medications at a much lower cost from pharmacies located in Canada. Health Canada follows similar approval processes and quality assurance measures as the U.S.’s FDA.


What brand name medications does Rx ‘n Go Beyond Carry?

Rx ‘n Go Beyond offers approximately 140 brand name, maintenance and preventive medications available across 21 therapeutic categories. Rx ‘n Go Beyond will work on expanding the covered drug list, so please check back throughout the year at https://rxngo.com/beyond/branded-medications to see if your medication has been added or email info@rxngo.com for inquiries.


Who can be an Rx ‘n Go Beyond Member?

Employees and their eligible family members of companies sponsoring Rx 'n Go Beyond and who participate in the employer’s benefit program can become members.


Why is Rx ‘n Go Beyond not on the pharmacy label?

Rx ‘n Go Beyond is not a pharmacy. The Rx ‘n Go Beyond program facilitates your personal importation of prescription medications to help you save on branded prescription medications.

Our Canadian pharmacy partner is located in Manitoba, Canada and is licensed by the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba. The Rx ‘n Go Beyond Customer Service Team works directly with our Canadian partner pharmacy to ensure that all orders are properly filled and safely shipped.

How do I order my refills?

All orders are set to refill for prescriptions written more than 90 days. Customer Service will call the member and confirm the refill is needed prior to shipment.

If it is your first time being prescribed the medication, make sure to fill 30 days at your local retail pharmacy. The first shipment of your medications may take 3-4 weeks to arrive, so we want to ensure you have your medication on hand during that period.

Ordering is easy. You can place your order online via our online platform at rxngobeyond.com/sign-up or by calling our Customer Care Team at 833.390.1043.

A copy of your prescription is all that is required to start processing your order. Your prescription can be mailed, faxed or uploaded to your account via our website. You must mail in the original prescription to support@rxngobeyond.com

We highly recommend your doctor issue your prescription for an entire year’s supply. All refills will remain on file for future fills. Our Canadian Pharmacy partner is able to dispense a ninety (90-day) supply at a time. Your online account will always show your remaining refills.

Shipping time averages approximately two weeks but can take up to four weeks. We always encourage you to fill 30 days in advance of running out of your medication. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an e-mail notification which will include any tracking information if available.


How long will it take to receive my medication?

Once our Canadian pharmacy partner has confirmed your registration and validated your prescription, the first fill of each medication through Rx ‘n Go Beyond may take 3-4 weeks to arrive. After the initial fill, your orders will be set to refill should we receive a prescription for over 90 days. Our Customer Care Team will confirm the refill order with you so that you will know that it’s on the way.

How will controlled substances or narcotics be shipped internationally?

There are no controlled substances or narcotics on the covered drug list for the Rx 'n Go Beyond program.  Our Canadian partner pharmacy reserves the right to refuse to accept orders for medications where there is a concern for potential abuse.


Is Rx ‘n Go Beyond Insurance?

Rx 'n Go Beyond is not insurance, does not accept payments from any third-party insurance payers, and will not submit claims to any insurance carrier.
